Golfing event ‘great success’ for ASA-Colorado

ASA-Colorado had so much success with its “first annual” golf tournament in September that it plans on holding one in 2019.

Eighty golfers joined 10 “primary sponsors” to make the event a “great success,” said Julie Massaro, the Colorado ASA affiliate’s executive director.

Participants on the first- and last-place teams and with the longest drive and putts in the men and women’s divisions received prizes, Massaro said.

“Several of the teams showed their ‘spirit’ by dressing in costume to play with one very patriotic team showing off their stars and stripes,” Massaro said.
