ASA welcomed two new members to its board of directors at its 2018 Annual Business Meeting & Conference, which took place May 2-4 at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel and Resort.
Newly elected to the ASA board were Elissa Larremore, to the position of general director, and Tom Piippo, AMAM, to the position of Mechanical Division director.
Larremore owns CBS 1 Collision in Shreveport, La. She has been a member of ASA’s Collision Division Operations Committee since 2016 and also is a member of I-CAR, WIN, CIC, ASE and the Northwest Louisiana Collision Repair Association. Larremore holds a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor Law School at Baylor University.
Piippo owns Tri-County Motors, a service repair facility in Rudyard, Mich. He has served as an advisor to the Mechanical Division Operations Committee, and also belongs to the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS and the Lion’s Club, as well as having served 30 years as a Scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
