CarMax teams up with RepairPal

CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, recently announced that it is expanding its commercial relationship with RepairPal, a leading provider of auto service and repair via a network of its certified shops. Additionally, CarMax reported that it had made a minority investment of $5 million toward a new round of financing for RepairPal.

RepairPal, an ASA Sponsored Benefit Provider, offers consumers the ability to locate trustworthy repair shops that have been rigorously screened by a staff of ASE-certified technicians using RepairPal’s free, trademarked Fair Price Estimator.

Bill Nash, CarMax president and CEO, said the company’s customers could feel confident they’re getting reasonable prices on repairs. “CarMax led the way in providing trust and transparency in car buying, selling and ownership, and our relationship with RepairPal gives us the opportunity to further enhance the customer experience.”

And RepairPal CEO Art Shaw added, “CarMax’s commitment to creating a great customer experience makes them an ideal partner as we continue to build out our network of trusted mechanics who deliver fair pricing and service excellence. Consumers can quickly get back on the road knowing they’ve received quality work at fair prices.”
