Adams Automotive Takes "Best Waiting Area" in AutoInc. Photo Contest

Congratulations to Scooter Owens of Adams Automotive, Houston! He submitted the winning entry in AutoInc.’s shop photo contest for Best Waiting Area.

"Best Waiting Area" Photo Contest Winner Adams Automotive, Houston, Texas

"This picture shows the back half of our waiting area. We have a 405-gallon saltwater aquarium filled with all types of sea life that separate the two areas. The back half features a desk, two designer chairs and a designer couch with ottomans. We also have the daily paper and a variety of periodic publications. Our waiting area also features wireless Internet access and a gourmet coffee bar with biscotti and candy."

A panel of judges – composed of Automotive Service Association (ASA) staffers – selected the winner based on attractiveness, professional appearance and functionality of the waiting area.

"Our waiting area is modeled after a 1950s soda bar. This represents service the way it should be: quick, personal and honest. That’s why our slogan is 'Heads and tails above the rest.' Sometimes our customers come in just to talk."
