Dave Ludwig, owner of Prestige Auto Body in Manchester, N.H., received the Automotive Service Association (ASA)/National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Top Score Award during the 2007 International Autobody Congress and Exposition in Las Vegas. The award recognizes the ASA Collision Division member who received the highest score on the ASE master collision repair/refinish certification test.
Darrell Amberson, ASA’s Collision Division director, presented the award during Friday morning general session on Nov. 2. Tony Molla, vice president of communications for ASE, was also present for the award presentation.
Ludwig began working part time in the collision industry in his 20s, looking for a steady occupation. He found that and more, he says. In 1986, he opened Prestige Auto Body Inc., and during the past 21 years, his business has grown successfully to more than 20 full-time employees.
Prestige Auto Body is an I-CAR Platinum shop. Ludwig is ASE certified and also is I-CAR welding qualified. He is an Automotive Management Institute (AMI) student, an ASA member and participates in a DuPont 20 Group.
