Welcome to the final issue of the 2002 NACE Online Daily News, published by AutoInc. magazine and the Automotive Service Association.
Once again, NACE has transcended all expectations. These past few days have been non-stop! I'm really proud of the expanded lineup of technical and management classes that this year's event offered. For anyone who attended these classes, I'm sure they will truly reap the benefits of the information provided and take a little bit of NACE 2002 back to their repair shops around the world. Between the management and technical courses, keynote address, Town Hall meeting, and more than 1,800 exhibitor booths, NACE offered something for everyone in the collision repair industry.
Last night's entertainment featuring Bill Cosby was top-notch and provided an enjoyable end to an informative day. Dallas was a great host city and opened its doors to a number of activities, including several spouse programs.
The show concludes at 3 p.m. today and marks the end of two decades of NACE success. There's something electric about having 30,000 collision repair professionals together at one influential event. The future of NACE is clear. It will continue to evolve into the best networking and educational opportunity offered to the collision repair industry. As the collision repair industry continues to change, so will NACE. However, the main idea behind the event - providing the most progressive and up-to-date information available - will not change.
Although this year's show concludes today, the Online Daily will remain active. Please log on to AutoInc.'s Web site (www.autoinc.org) or the ASA Web site (www.asashop.org) anytime you're looking for information about NACE.
I look forward to seeing you next year in Orlando, Fla., at NACE 2003!
