 As chairman of this year's NACE, the world's largest collision repair event, I would like to personally welcome you to Dallas! This year marks NACE's 20th anniversary and gives us the opportunity to celebrate its role in strengthening the collision repair industry, both at home and abroad. We expect more than 30,000 industry professionals from around the globe to take part in NACE 2002. And we promise not to disappoint, making this year's event bigger and better than ever!
Yesterday's General Session proved to be both informative and entertaining. We were honored to have former president George Bush deliver our keynote address. Today marks Day 2 of the Exposition. As the doors open at 10 a.m., I sincerely hope you have a chance to visit many of the 1,800-plus exhibit booths that provide the latest in collision repair products.
In addition to the various Congress seminars and Action demonstrations that will be taking place, we are very excited about today's Town Hall discussion. Commencing in Exhibit Hall B at 11:30 a.m., the NACE Town Hall will provide a forum for discussion and debate about some of the collision industry's hottest topics, including state and federal legislation regarding insurer-owned shops and right to repair, diminished value, and the future of the industry's image. I hope to see attendance skyrocket for this event. The only way to improve our industry as a whole is to debate the topics at hand and discuss timely solutions. This Town Hall meeting provides a forum to do so.
After a long day of Congress seminars and walking the Exposition floor, we invite you to tonight's entertainment festivities. Join us for an evening with Bill Cosby. Doors to the Arena open at 8 p.m., with the show beginning at 8:30 p.m. See you there!
