The Rail Saver can reach a depth of 27-½ inches with control at the working end of the tool. It can also access the corners for repairs that piston type hydraulic rams can’t reach. The Rail Saver can expand from 1.8 inches to 3.3 inches without shims. The Rail Saver is designed with an adjustable convex pushing pad that doesn’t deform the metal as it is being repaired which also concentrates the power into a ¼-inch surface area. An integrated measuring tape makes it easy to target damage repair.
The Rail Saver was designed specifically for the repair of damaged side members and frame rails by an auto body technician. It allows a technician to repair a rail or side member from the inside-out quickly, easily and accurately with three steps: measure, insert and repair.
