The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be conducting two training sessions in the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) Educational Theater. These free educational sessions are another component to the agency’s Collision Repair Campaign (CRC), an industry outreach program designed to familiarize collision repair facilities with the requirements of new paint regulations.
EPA representatives will be on hand to answer questions and distribute the recently released 19-minute training DVD that features an introduction by NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. ASA members can log in here to access the ASA Collision Repair Report and learn more about the training program.
Two Educational Theater sessions are scheduled. Session One will cover how to comply with the new rule and resources available to assist shops. Session Two will include a hands-on demonstration with a virtual spray booth, an explanation of the rule exemption and an overview of MSDS.
Session One will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Session Two will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, 12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
