| Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III will tackle the topic of safety during his keynote to ASRW attendees. |
DuPont Performance Coatings’ presence at the annual Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) trade show in Las Vegas includes sponsorship of the opening general session.
ASRW, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Nov. 4 - 7, features the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS).
The opening general session features keynote speaker Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, III, the heroic pilot who masterfully landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River earlier this year, saving 155 people. His address will focus on how critical safety is in a proper installation, proper collision or mechanical repair and in the proper operation of motor vehicles. The opening general session takes place Thursday morning, Nov. 5, in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
"It is with great pride that DuPont will sponsor the opening session with Chesley Sullenberger as this year’s NACE keynote speaker,” said Mark Wagner, vice president, Refinish Americas, DuPont Performance Coatings. “Hearing from him personally will be a highlight of NACE this year.”
