clientONE Founding Partner Todd Hayes Selected as Trainer for Upcoming CARS Convention

clientONEDAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 22, 2008 — Todd Hayes, founding partner of clientONE, has been selected as a certified trainer at the annual Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) Convention, to be held Nov. 6-8, 2008 in Las Vegas. A 20-year veteran and innovator in the auto repair and training industry, Hayes was selected by the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) to conduct his three-hour Automotive Management Institute (AMI) accredited training class during the convention. The class is entitled "Deal Your Shop a Winning Hand: Success Strategies for 2009" and will give attendees the chance to earn six credits toward their Accredited Automotive Manager Designation (AAM).

According to Ellen Pipkin, show manager of NACE and CARS for Hanley Wood Exhibitions, their goal is to equip all conference participants with skills and techniques that will help them take their businesses to the next level. "We selected Todd Hayes for his ability to directly address the daily challenges faced by collision and mechanical professionals," stated Pipkin. "This convention is simply the best place to receive this kind of education."

In addition to the three-hour accredited training class, Hayes will be speaking at the Exhibitor Theater throughout the convention. He will give several presentations covering his proven sales and customer service models; tips on recruiting, retention and staffing repair shops; and selling skills based on his own decades-long track record of success. Hayes will also moderate an early bird roundtable on selling and up selling. clientONE can also be seen on the convention floor all three days at Booth # C8326.

About Todd Hayes
In 1986, Todd Hayes founded Mobile Car Care, a chain of auto repair service centers, leading the company through its start-up and expansion, and quickly growing it into one of the most successful of its kind. In 10 years, Mobile Car Care had locations in three major Texas markets, at which time Hayes sold to a partnership formed by Retail & Restaurant Growth Capital, L.P. (RRGC) and Cardinal Investment Co. In 2002, Hayes formed RepairOne, his second multimillion dollar automotive repair and service center concept, for which he now provides long-range vision, sets strategic focus, and spearheads growth. In addition to his success in the auto repair service industry, Hayes was the host of the nationally syndicated radio show "Auto Show Special" in Houston, Texas, for which he received the coveted Wheel Award from the Detroit Press Club Foundation. Hayes is a former journalist for the Houston Chronicle, past President of the Texas Auto Writers Association, creator of Test Drive TV for CBS, United Airlines in-flight and co-founder of the North American Auto Writers newspaper syndication. He is also the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in advertising, presented by the American Advertising Federation.
