It’s a long week in Las Vegas, and we each have our own ways of surviving the long days and nights.
We’ve compiled a list of “must-pack” items that we’d pack in our perfect Survival Kit. We’d be lost without these items if we didn’t have them in our bags when we arrive in Las Vegas. Beyond the standard clothing and documentation, we’ll be bringing:
• Cell phone charger.
• Medications and/or pain relievers.
• Band-aids for those sore feet (from walking the show floor).
• Mouthwash, mints and gum.
• Eyeglass repair kit — you’d be surprised at how useful that little screwdriver can be in tight places!
• At least two pairs of shoes because you MUST change shoes at least once a day.
• Gel insoles for shoes — feet savers!
• Plastic zip bags, quart and gallon sizes. Great for preventing soap or shampoo leaks onto clothing and for collecting business cards.
• Lots of business cards.
• Lint roller.
• Anti-bacterial wipes.
• Journal or notebook and pen.
• Swiss army knife (pack in checked luggage).
• Digital camera, plus its charger or extra batteries.
• Extra camera memory card, in case you get “snap-happy.”
• Umbrella – The weather is expected to be clear and beautiful this week, but you never know when it will change!
In a worst-case scenario, your luggage disappears, never to return. But if you’ve made a copy of your packing list, you'll have a complete record of any loss to make your claim with the airline.
