BEDFORD, TEXAS — The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) in conjunction with Automotive Video Inc. (AVI) has established the AVI Education Scholarship to award an applicant from the automotive repair industry with a $1,000 scholarship.
The scholarship will be applied toward expenses to attend the 2009 AVI Annual Training Conference at The Pink Shell Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Florida, Jan. 15 - 18, 2009. Expenses include airfare, hotel and registration.
Who should apply for this scholarship?
Management-oriented, mechanical repair professionals, including those who are not in management but are striving to reach this level. Only those who meet the following list of qualifications should apply:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of two years work experience in the mechanical repair industry.
- Must demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through education and training.
- Applicant must be recommended by the business owner (does not exclude business owner from recommending self).
