The Automotive Service Association (ASA) is excited about launching its first-ever Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW), which combines CARS and NACE under one roof. Whether you're an attendee of CARS or NACE (or both), or this is your first time attending, you may have some questions about this inaugural event. If so, check out the following frequently asked questions (FAQs) - followed by their answers - to gain more information.
Question: Why did ASA decide to combine CARS and NACE?
The answer is simple. Co-locating the event with NACE will provide CARS with a permanent location and enable ASRW to have more exhibit space, while reaching a wider audience of potential participants, many of whom are discovering the mechanical and collision fields are converging into one world.
Question: Will my CARS badge allow me to get into NACE and will my NACE badge allow me to get into CARS?
Yes. No matter if you are registered for NACE or CARS, you can get into both shows.
Question: I'm a collision repairer who wants to explore more mechanical-related business for my shop. Will I be able to take advantage of CARS educational sessions even though I am registered for NACE?
Yes, you may attend CARS educational sessions; however, you must pay the individual educational session fee or you can explore other package options online at www.NACEexpo.com or www.CARSevent.com. The same applies if you're a CARS attendee and would like to attend NACE educational sessions.
Question: Will CARS still have the same personalized service that registrants have come to expect?
Yes. While co-locating the two shows under the ASRW umbrella will provide greater opportunity, as well as convenience, for attendees, exhibitors and other event partners, organizers also want to maintain the "small world" feel that CARS attendees have come to expect.
