Ron Nagy |
Nagy, an active member of the collision repair industry, is a second generation owner/technician whose industry experience began in 1982 when he went to work in his father's shop after high school. He and his brother/business partner, Dan, purchased the shop from their father in 1995 and today Nagy's Collision Centers celebrate 38 years of business in six locations throughout northeast Ohio.
Recognized for excellence, Nagy's Collision Centers were the recipients of the 2008 Wooster Small Business Award and the 2010 Fox 8 Best Body Shop Award.
Nagy, who serves as president over the I-CAR certified gold multi-location shop, holds an I-CAR platinum designation, is certified as a master ASE collision technician and holds the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation from the Automotive Management Institute (AMI). Nagy was awarded the Body Shop Business magazine Executive of the Year award at NACE 2010, and has attended NACE since 1996.

Schneider is a fourth generation mechanic/technician recognized as a champion of service dealer and technician causes. For more than 30 years, he has operated Schneider's Automotive, a successful six-bay, family-owned and -operated service facility in Simi Valley, Calif. Schneider's Automotive has won recognition throughout the area, including being twice ranked among Los Angeles magazine's annual list of 100 best repair facilities.
As a frequent speaker and keynote at major conventions and meetings of automotive organizations, Schneider addresses the challenges and problems affecting the automotive service industry. He is an award-winning journalist who recently returned to Advanstar's Motor Age and Aftermarket Business magazines as a regular contributor and senior contributing editor. His "Schneider's World" columns cover the experiences shared by service technicians, shop owners and consumers in today's rapidly changing automotive service environment and provides commentary on the evolving relationship that exists between all segments of the industry. "Schneider's World" also serves as the foundation for a weekly, live and interactive broadcast on SearchAutoParts.com. He is also author of the eight-volume Automotive Service Management Series published by Cengage Learning.
