ASA Hosts 'Taking the Hill' Day

The Automotive Service Association hosted its 2011 "Taking the Hill" day in Washington, D.C., for its members on May 11. Independent automotive repairers from around the country congregated on Capitol Hill to meet with congressional leaders and their staff. The day on Capitol Hill followed two days of association business meetings at the Gaylord National Hotel.

ASA briefed new congressional members and their staff on the importance of independent repairers to the U.S. economy and the unique needs of the automotive service and repair industry. To read more about the issues repairers voiced on Capitol Hill, click here.
