ASE Names Race Winners

Christine Strait; Jonathan Strait; Justin Perry; Dana PerryThe National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced that Justin Perry of Garland, Texas, and Jonathan Strait of Queen Creek, Ariz., have been selected as winners of the 2010 ASE Race Experience.

Their names were selected from the list of technicians who registered to take an ASE test in 2010, or registered for the contest on the ASE website. Both received an expense-paid trip for two to Phoenix to attend a race event and meet drivers Kasey Kahne and Jason Leffler in person. In addition, the winners are profiled on the ASE website at www.ase.com.

NABC Elects Stacy Bartnik

Stacy Bartnik

Stacy Bartnik, a member of ASA's Collision Division Operations Committee, was elected president of the National Autobody Council for 2011.

Bartnik is assistant vice president and director of field services for CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts, Overland Park, Kan. She has served in numerous shop positions including shop estimator, general manager and insurance adjuster. Among serveral honors, she was recognized in 2004 by Akzo Nobel as one of the most influential women in the collision industry.
