Here's What People Are Saying... |
"As ASA members and participants in the ASA Capitol Hill Fly-In, independent repairers have the ability to focus attention on issues fundamentally important to the industry. The fly-in unifies members and creates the strength in numbers needed to leave a lasting impression on a legislative level." - Eddie Ehlert, Chamblee, Ga.
"In 2010, we attended ASA's 'Taking the Hill' event for the first time. Neither one of us had ever been involved in any type of government lobby prior to this participation. The ASA staff and the office of our Washington, D.C., representative, Bob Redding, had meticulously put together our schedules, items for discussion and presentation materials. We were able to attend each appointment at a senator or congressman's office fully prepared to discuss areas of concern for our industry. It was truly humbling to have the honor of walking the halls of the senatorial and congressional offices representing the automotive industry. We will definitely attend 2011's 'Taking the Hill' event." - Terry & Kay Wynter, AAMs, Fort Myers, Fla.
