David Solmes is the winner of the ASA 2010 "How's Your Business?" survey drawing. He received a $200 Visa card for his participation in the survey.
His name was picked at random from among all the members who took time to complete the survey, thus automatically becoming eligible for the drawing.
Solmes used the $200 Visa card to help pay his expenses to Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW), which was held in Las Vegas in October. As part of the event, the Automotive Management Institute held a graduation ceremony and Solmes was one of the graduates. He is now an Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM)!
He is the third-generation owner of Dewey's Auto Body Inc. in Hastings, Mich. The shop opened in 1955.
The 2011 Women's Industry Network (WIN) Conference will be held at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego May 1-3.
"This will be our fifth annual conference and it promises to be a great forum for education, networking and personal development," said Kim White, the organization's chairwoman.
