Prize Tiers for Member Recruitment Participation
The Automotive Service Association announces new prize tiers for the Chairman's Club program - ASA's grassroots member recruitment program that rewards regular members who recruit or provide leads for prospective shops to become members of the association.
The Chairman's Club is based on a point system: five points are earned for each new member a current member recruits. In addition to a grand prize given to the member with the most recruits, three new prize tiers have been added to the program:
• Tier One: Members who earn a minimum of 10 points up to 20 points will receive a $25 dinner certificate to a local restaurant of their choice.
• Tier Two: Members who earn a minimum of 25 points up to 35 points will receive a $25 VISA gift card.
• Tier Three: Members who earn a minimum of 40 points will receive a $50 VISA gift card.
• Grand Prize: The ASA member with the most recruitment points (and earning a minimum of 50) by Aug. 15, 2011, will be awarded the grand prize - an expense-paid trip to ASA's Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) or International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) events. In the case of a tie, a drawing will be held to determine the winner.
Prize tier eligibility will be calculated at the close of the 2011 Chairman's Club recruitment contest Aug. 15, 2011.
"Recruiting other shops into an organization that is easily the best investment in our own businesses and in our industry is a win-win for all of us," said Kevin Leiby, ASA's 2010 Chairman's Club winner. "Even with all of the money-saving benefits ASA offers, the networking and friendships established outweigh them all."
The ASA Chairman's Club is an integral part of ASA's membership recruitment program. All regular members in good standing are invited to participate in the program. For more information, call the ASA membership department at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295; or visit the ASA Community section in the Members Only area of the ASA website, www.ASAshop.org.
