Register Now for ASA's Annual Convention

Posted 3/2/2009
By Reggie Denney, AAM, Chairman

Reggie DenneyAs I write this message, I have just returned from the ASA national office in Bedford, Texas, where the executive committee of your board of directors met to discuss various plans for 2009.

During my visit, I got to see firsthand what your ASA national staff is currently doing to deliver the most value to members. Among the many endeavors under way, they are preparing for the 2009 Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla., April 30-May 2. I am here to tell you that this is not the year you want to skip this event! They have beefed up the agenda to create an informative yet relaxing weekend for ASA members and have taken into consideration the condition of the economy, so they're giving you more bang for your buck.

The jam-packed agenda will include informative Industry Impact sessions focusing on specific issues from the automotive service and collision repair segments of the industry, the board of directors meeting, and three outstanding management classes that will help you keep your business on track in 2009.

There is also a lot to do in Orlando for you, your family and your employees - Disney World, Epcot Center, MGM, Universal Studios, Downtown Disney, Sea World and Animal Kingdom are all nearby! And if you are able to come early or stay after the convention to enjoy the sites, you may especially enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience (800-BE-PETTY), which is located in the parking lot of Disney World.

Leave your heavy coats and stress-filled days behind and come renew friendships, meet new friends, and network with vendors and ASA staff.

Plan to come early and stay late! In addition to all that Orlando has to offer, the camaraderie of your fellow shop owners and managers in these challenging economic times will provide business solutions to help you stay successful.

We are looking forward to seeing each of you in Orlando, so complete the registration form found here and mail, fax or e-mail it to the ASA office now.
