Benefit Provider of the Month

Mitchell1"When Mitchell 1 considers partnering with industry organizations, the decision is always easier when the organization has the same core beliefs about the customers we serve. The Automotive Service Association demonstrates time and time again its concern about the health and welfare of independent repair facilities that are the lifeblood of the industry. Fostering a strong relationship with Mitchell 1 is yet another example of ASA's dedication to providing access to leading technology to provide better efficiency and profitability for the shops. Mitchell 1 has a full suite of software based solutions - Repair Information, Shop Management, enhanced Business Performance Services, Customer Retention Marketing, Service Intelligence and Data Protection Service - that can help a shop keep business coming in even when the economic climate is uncertain. Mitchell 1 is proud to call ASA our 'partner.'"

Your Voice Is Heard in Washington, D.C.!

ASA provides members with full-time representation in the nation's capital. In addition, it offers assistance at the state and local levels on legislative matters. Weekly state legislation and regulatory issues are listed in the Members Only Area of the ASA Web site (www.ASAshop.org). Also, focused on a commitment to advance grassroots advocacy campaigns, ASA's Web site, www.TakingTheHill.com, helps mobilize support or dissent for issues directly impacting the automotive repair industry on both federal and state levels. The Web site serves as a sophisticated grassroots program and reference guide for ASA members and other industry professionals.

CSi Complete Newest ASA Member Benefit Provider

CSi CompleteThe Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced another new member benefit agreement -
a customer satisfaction indexing service through CSi Complete. Using a systematic approach to monitor business performance, CSi Complete offers traditional phone-based CSi market research while CSi Communicator offers automated but personalized phone-based technology.

"The live personal calls have traditionally worked well for collision repairers," said David Merrell, vice president of strategic initiatives, CSi Complete. "CSi Communicator has a nice price point for the mechanical division members, and they can personalize it with their own voice introduction."

Features of both systems include audio recordings of customer comments, real-time text message or e-mail alerts of customer feedback to the repair facility, and online reports that are updated daily. CSi Communicator also has automated service reminders and other messaging functionality to drive revenue and profits.

"CSi Complete has been serving our industry for more than 12 years and we're happy to have them on board as a new sponsored benefit provider," said John Scully, ASA's executive vice president. "We're pleased to bring this program to both our mechanical and collision repair members."

To learn more about ASA's agreement with CSi Complete, or any of the more than 35 ASA member benefits, call (800) 272-7467, ext. 295, or access the electronic benefits portfolio within ASA OnDemand, which can be downloaded from www.ASAOnDemand.com. ASA members may also contact CSi Complete directly at (800) 343-0641, ext. 227.

CarCareONE Offers Roadside Assistance to Cardholders

The Emergency Roadside Assistance program that comes with a CarCareONE card is proving to be a powerful sales tool for enrolling new cardholders. This valuable customer service ensures that your customer will never be stranded on the highway without help. One phone call does it all. Emergency Roadside Assistance is available anywhere in the United States and Canada, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

CarCareONE cardholders who need assistance just call a toll-free number that is provided to them when they receive their new card(s) in the mail shortly after account approval and give the representative their CarCareONE account number for verification. A service vehicle is dispatched immediately.

The following services are covered:

• Jump Start

• Towing up to 10 miles

• Tire change (with the customer's inflated spare)

• Fluid replacement (fluids not covered)

• Lock-out service

If more extensive service is required, the cardholder is given a complete estimate of charges over the phone before a qualified service provider is dispatched. Once the problem has been fixed, the cardholder simply signs for the services and is not responsible for any charges if covered services are provided. The CarCareONE Emergency Roadside Assistance program does not cover recreational vehicles and off-road vehicles.

GE Money, an ASA-sponsored benefit provider, administers the CarCareONE program. If you are interested in learning more about this program, please call ASA's membership department at (800) 272-7467, ext. 295.
