Drivers of small cars such as the Honda Civic, Toyota Carolla, Ford Focus, Mazda3, Nissan Sentra and the Chevy Cobalt are at higher risk for fatal accidents. The small cars account for approximately 14 percent of vehicles on the road and 24 percent of one- and two-vehicle fatal crashes.
