Hybrid Sales Increasing Slowly

Hybrid sales grew slowly in 2006, according to R.L. Polk & Co. New hybrid vehicle registrations increased 28 percent (rounded) in 2006. As shown below, this is the second-smallest increase since 2000, reaching 1.5 percent of all new vehicle registrations.
