What Impacts Members

Collision Division

When Collision Division members were asked in the 2007 "How's Your Business?" survey what most positively impacted their (1) business and (2) the entire collision industry, they said OEM parts dependability (83 percent, my business; 78 percent, the industry).

Asked what had the most negative impact on their business and the entire collision industry, they said business health care costs (88 percent and 92 percent, respectively) and air bag deployment costs on totaled vehicles (81 percent and 87 percent, respectively).


Mechanical Division

When Mechanical Division members were asked what most positively impacted (1) their business and (2) the entire mechanical industry, they said parts profitability and technician training (79 percent each).

Asked what had the most negative impact on their business and the entire mechanical industry, they said business health care costs (81 percent and 87 percent, respectively).
